KABAR JOGLOSEMAR - SM Entertainment mengumumkan bahwa agensi akan mengambil langkah hukum pada mereka yang telah menyebarkan rumor negatif soal Yoo Ji Min.
Sebelumnya, beredar kabar ia dikecam komunitas online karena dugaan berkomentar kasar tentang artis Kpop lainnya.

Kata orang yang disebut sebagai Yoo Jimin.

Ketika rekannya bertanya apakah Yoo Jimin ingin pergi ke BIG HIT Entertainment berhubung BTS berkarier dengan baik, orang yang diduga Yoo Jimin justru menjawab hal yang tak diduga.
"I mean it didn't used to be this bad... but I think our company and our idols now cannot compare to that other company. I didn't like BTS originally because they're ugly."
Beredar pula rumor bahwa Yoo Jimin diduga menyebut Kai EXO jelek usai syuting iklan bersama. Padahal, iklan tersebut belum dirilis.
